Director Player Error
This can occur on launch if the resolution of your machine is set to 640*480. The minimum resolution required is 800*600. To change the resolution of your monitor take the following steps:

1. Right-click on your desktop and select Properties
2. Select the Settings tab
3. Drag the screen resolution slider to 800*600 or above
4. Click Apply to change the resolution and then click Yes to accept the change

‘application error: this application cannot run’ when launching the program
This error is based on a conflict between various versions of these two files; dirapi.dll and iml32.dll

1. Search for these files (dirapi.dll and iml32.dll) within the WINDOWS or SYSTEM folders and move them to a safe location. We suggest moving them onto the desktop to begin with
2. Launch the program
3. Once the program is running, they can then be deleted.
